Artists Village:
This area, located on Second Street at Broadway and surrounding the Second Street Mall, is home to art galleries, studios, creative offices, design workshops, and restaurants. The village extends from First Street to Fourth Street, Bush Street to Birch

Vision Statement for ArtWalk:
ArtWalk envisions a dynamic, inclusive, and nurturing platform for local artists, where public spaces are transformed into vibrant canvases for creative expression, social practice, and community engagement. In a time when affordable spaces for artists to create and showcase their work are increasingly limited, ArtWalk is committed to providing free, accessible spaces that protect and support the artistic community. Through live art, installations, projections, and sound, ArtWalk activates the promenade and surrounding areas, offering a space where artists can thrive and directly connect with the community. Our vision is to create a sustainable, protected space that celebrates creativity, fosters collaboration, and empowers artists while strengthening the cultural fabric of Santa Ana and honoring the rich history of the Artists Village.

The mission of ArtWalk is to offer a free, open, and inclusive space where local artists can showcase their work and engage with the community in meaningful ways. By curating the promenade and surrounding areas as a hub for live art, interactive installations, projections, and sound, ArtWalk supports the artistic community while fostering civic engagement and creative dialogue. Rooted in the Santa Ana Community Artist Coalition’s commitment to socially engaged art, ArtWalk is dedicated to creating and protecting spaces where artists can create, collaborate, and showcase their work in an environment that nurtures their creative growth. ArtWalk strengthens the relationship between artists and the community, empowering both to grow, explore, and create lasting social change.
